Worship

At High Pointe Church we believe every living being is created to worship God. Every act, every thought, every decision presents us with the opportunity to worship Him. We often choose to worship or show worth to lesser things. Things that aren't worthy of our devotion but nevertheless end up getting it. But, when we get it right and live in ways that reflect God's worth in our lives we display the calling Paul exhorts us to in Romans 12. “Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God.”

There are a wide variety of opportunities to serve in the worship arts ministry. We need people willing to help behind the scenes by preparing Communion, praying over the service, setting up and tearing down equipment. We also need people with technical skills or desire to run sound, lights, visuals, or create video. If you have a musical gift to help lead worship with your voice or instrument, or if you possess other artistic skills in the fields of drama, design, writing, or dance, please consider joining our team. We enjoy involving new people with creative skills to help craft our weekly services and series.
